What We Collect and How
We do not place “cookies” on your computer or collect personal information about you without your knowledge. We collect only information you provide via completing our network forms or corresponding with us via email, U.S. mail, or telephone.
As do most web sites, we also compile general information to determine which sections of our site are most visited and useful and identify any problems with the site. Information is collected in aggregate only, is never used to track or monitor individual users, and is not identified with specific email addresses.
What We Do with the Information You Provide
We do not sell, rent, trade, share, give away, or otherwise disclose names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information.
We use the information you provide to send you the newsletter(s) you have subscribed to. For E-News, we use your email address to send you weekly email newsletters. For Catalyst, we use your mailing address to mail you a free periodic newsletter. Everyone who provides a mailing address may also get infrequent special mailings from the Treatment Advocacy Center. You can ask to be removed from our list at any time.
From time to time, we may contact you to ask for your permission to use your name or contact information for a specific purpose. We will only act with your permission. For instance, if you indicated that you want to help with advocacy, we may contact you when an opportunity arises in your area. Only a Treatment Advocacy Center staff person will contact you. Again, we will not share or give out any information from our database to third parties without your explicit permission.
Storing Information
We retain your contact information in a private, secured in-house database that is used only for these purposes.
Access to Your Information
